Corona Heights Playground

This is a great little off-the-beaten-path peak with a fantastic view of the city spreading out around you. Walking up from the Castro or Haight you pass through secret staircases lined with cottages and gardens and catch little glimpses of the expanding views. When you enter the park, there are a few dirt paths leading up to the peaks. Anyway you take, you'll be at the top within a few minutes but with just enough of a hike and final scramble at the top that you'll feel like you've earned that gorgeous view.
