The International Bazaar is a one of a kind historical market place not only to the tourists, but also a sacred place for locals. It was built in the 1950's, when a few Chinese merchants were among the first to sell their products there. It is the largest shopping center on the island. Exploring the International Bazaar is worthwhile seeing that almost every culture in the world is represented with sections and buildings that are built inspired by their influences.

...there is entertainment every Saturday and the is a big event called "A Parisian Evening with Besh" on May 2 2010 in the French Quarter of the La Maison de Besh 352-1335 for more information.
Basheva Eve of La Maison de Besh is having an evening of designer fashion and live entertainment under the theme of “A Parisian Evening with Besh”, to be held on Sunday May 2nd 2010 at7:00pm, at Rue Scribe in the French Quarter of the international Bazaar.
This event will not only bring attention to La Maison de Besh but also the surrounding Bazaar businesses as we transform the staging area of the French Quarter to that of a European Town Square Café and Runway.
In keeping with what our commitment to help reanimate the International Bazaar with quality products and entertainment; we have purposely utilized Bazaar businesses such as Les Rendezvous and Joe Fox’s Jazz Café as part of the evening program so that the residents of Grand Bahama will see that the International Bazaar is the shopping experience of choice.
“A Parisian Evening with Besh” will include an eclectic mix of entertainment which is so very “Paris”

• Jazz music by the Good Ole Boys
• Designer Fashion by Basheva Eve of La Maison de Besh
• An international indigenous entertainer.

The International Bazaar an historical Shopping, Dining and Entertainment Site. Local Arts and Crafts, International Cuisine, Business Centers, Fish and Conch Vendors, Bars, Barber Shops, Beauty Salons, Spas, Clubs and so much more are available at this Mega Shopping Mall. You can spend an entire day at the International Bazaar if you choose to. There is so much to do. Also coming in May of 2010, Cotton Candy Jazz Club (Located in the African Section).

There is also live entertainment behind the Torii Gate on Saturday Evenings with Junkanoo Groups and Live Bands.
