Country: Costa Rica

Hola (hello) Kevin

Well right now flights to Costa Rica a very cheap! So that elimnates the big part of the budget. Check out Jet Blue, Delta and Amarican Airlines. After you get an idea on flight prices. We can help, on locations such a beach front like we offer or taxi to beach. Mountain cabin lodge like we have or mountain hotels. Things to do can be endless! here in Costa Rica I have said to many clients of our, Costa Rica is the New Zeeland of the Americas.
I can give you a lot of ideas and itinerary's probably write 3 pages of that!

Go to our profile on this site see what we offer and if you like what we have here at Anamars-ecotours then click on our web site text in blue and see even more.

But a quick idea is this, fly into the country we pick you up, drive you and a friend to the mountains of Turrialba stay 3 days, then we drive you to our beach house located in Manuel Antonio 3 days here on the beach in our beach house rental. Then you bus, fly, or drive back to the Airport and fly home. All with a continental bfkt. included at both locations

Lodging and transport all under $950.00 for two. Lunches and dinners not included but can be prepared by us or you.
This can be done cheaper contact me a.s.a.p. and I will tell you how we locals move around fast, safe and cheap tico style.

Feel free to check options here..
Hello Kevin O,
Costa Rica has abundant tour operators in almost every town. We can help you arrange those tours as well as accommodation rentals. Plan your stay on experiences that you enjoy doing already or want to learn more about..surfing, birding, hiking & biking, snorkeling, zip lining, deep sea fishing or botanical experiences abound.
Places you can visit here that few countries offer are: Arenal Volcano and hot springs; Monteverde cloud forest. Few countries offer tourists the ablility to see a live volcano or experience a mountain cloud/rain forest.

Any vacation in CR its going to be great no matter where you go there are amazing thing to see and exiting things to do, the budget depends on what you like, its cheap if you look for the right places and expensive if you go for the first thing they trow at you, but defenetly check out the coast and the rain forest,(you can find them closer than you think)
Hello amigos
yes I have good ideas for you please contact me:
Olman Arce
Hi, there are many options and many budgets. I recommend you to skip the touristy (expensive-not real Costa Rica) places. The Caribbean coast is great in my opinion and also some small towns. You can check this out: for great ideas and great prices for responsible tourism.

Hi, here is a link to explain you an ATV tours guided, really funny. It's the real way to see Costa Rica 2 hours from the airport and only 10 minutes from Jaco a nice city with good restaurants and night club.
We also have a nice house for rent on the beach in Esterillos Este with a swimming pool
Would recommend a minimum of 8 to 12 days to see most of our Eco-highlights which should include (but is not an exhaustive list!):
-Poas Volcano NP
-Arenal VolcanoNP, La Fortuna and Lake Arenal area
-Manuel Antonio NP & Central Pacific coast including Carara NP, Tarcoles River crocodile riverboat safari
-Tortuguero NP tour
-Guanacaste area beaches-Playa Hermosa, PLaya Panama , Playa Conchal, Playa Grande(surfing), Playa samar, etc.
-Rincon de la Vieja Volcano NP & hot springs, horseback riding, ziplines, tubing
-Rafting on either the Reventazon or Pacuare rivers

You could get by on $150/day including lodging, transportation and some tours. Add az little more for meals & beverages.
For airfares spirit.
Check Arenal Las Colinas, Quetzal inn in Monteverde, Mono Azul in Manuel Antonio and La Riviera close to the SJO airport.
Interbus for shuttles or public buses are fine.
Self guided tours to park and maybe get extra for zip line or hot springs, that is best you can get!
About 700 USD a person for 10 days!
You should read a good guide book on CR like Lonely planet or Rough Guide, but none the less you should at least see the followinfg eco-highlights in CR:

Poas Volcano and or Arenal Volcano & Hot springs
Monteverde Cloud Forest region or San Gerardo de Dota Oak cloud forest
Tortuguero N park on the Caribbean
Manuel Antonio NP near Quepos(central pacific)
Montezuma beach or Playa Grande o tamarindo o Sámara(Guanacaste province)
Corcovado NP in osa Peninsula-possibly Drake bay area & Caño Island

Buena suerte amigo!
