Can you be more specific in what you are looking for? Best place..entertainment, tourist attractions, markets etc?
MBK for shopping. Then resturants, then sightseeing.
Can you be more specific in your requirements ?
is it ur first time ? if yes, go to the Grand Palace for sight seeing and then if u like shopping, go to MBK, Pratunam market, Night bazaar. and the next day, go to Floating Market & rose Garden and see elephant show. or go to Ancient City & Crocodile farm :)
In addition to those who have answered your question, Sukhumvit road one of the best areas worth visiting - restaurants, bars, night clubs, etc. Have fun in BKK
Really does depend pon what you want to do. Shopping, sighseeing, tours and so on. You must take a boat trip on the river, visit the markets at Lumpinin and Jatujak, have a walk around Siam Square and Central World. See the Grand Palace, take lunch on top of the Baiyoke Tower. There is so much to do in Bangkok, you'll have a great time.
if your travelling alone the sukumvit area is best with shops, restaurants and nightlife in nana plaza.
2 days if you are between 17-30 i would say kow san road, full of younger people traveller types also very near the grand palace,i think the slightly older crowd go to the sukumvit..... the skytrain(BTS)is amazing for getting about bangkok .....siam....mbk(shopping).....silom all very accesible very easy...have fun
You have to find hotel in or near Siam quater; siam is the center of bkk you can easily acess to all quater from siam enjoy your trip
Visiting? shopping? party? for sure avoid the govt house lol. week-end market at Chatujak market for anything but wear something light as you will melt; Central world for brand name, Chao Praya river at nigth if you come with you girlfriend, single, lot of club in Thonglor area nice place to hang out.
Well that all depends on what you are interested in. There are lots of great places for food, sightseeing, nightlife, and culture.

If you are interested in nightlife, there are lots of areas around sukhumvit for great clubs (and women if you are that way inclined)

There are also amazing restaurants ranging from expensive and very classy to good quality street food.

For two days there, go to the Grand Palace, MBK, Jim Thompson House, maybe a day trip out to Ayutthaya, and take a boat trip on the Chao Praya.

Hi there
Welcome to Krung Thep - The City Of Angels -. If you come the first time to BKK, absolut MUSTS over the 3 days are:
WAT PHRA KEOW & GRAND PALACE (Temple of Emerald Buddha)
WAT BENJAMABOPITR (Marble Temple, nearby Government House)
WAT ARUN (Temple of Dawn). A Boat trip on Menam
Evenings: PAT PONG Area and/or Lumpini Night Bazar
Hi
The place you must visit in Bangkok :
The Grand Palace and The Temple of The Emerald Buddha
This is the most famous place in Bangkok.
Grand Palace, Floating Market tour and the Temple Dawn are definitely worth to see. For shopping MBK, Cenral World and Siam Paragon are nice. Sukkhumvit area has many hotels in any categorie and price range.
For clubbing I would recommend Sukkhumvit area and may be RCA.
For variety of shopping, Chatuchak (weekend market) is a must, Suan lum Night Market & Kaosan Road...are for night shopping.

Night life : Sukhumvit 11 (posh), RCA...younger crowd, Silom, Patpong, Soi Cowboy...crazy and wild zone.

Food: Everywhere has good food, Chinatown is fun for evening street food.

Spa & Massage : Healthland is good and affordable
There're many places to visit in Bangkok. If you are fan of shopping, I would recommend you to go to Siam Paragon/Geysorn plaze/Emporium (for the brand name stuffs), Chatuchak/Pratunam/platinium/MBK (for whole sale or cheap clothes). If you are interested in thai cultures, temples , antiques, you could go to Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Wat Po (you can learn the massage from here), National Museam, etc.
Heloo Amar,

You have only 2 days here in bkk and hope you are not coming here to shopping so avoid chatuchak, its one day tired work.

Grand Palace + Night life + 2 hour boat trip can be the best option.

Good day.
Above I read all standard tourist-spots. Go of the tourist track and join one of the most amazing cycling rides Bangkok has to offer you. Have a look on
