Where's the best,but economical 'bakuteh' ?

Country: Singapore

I doubt there are any more economical Bak Kut Teh in Singapore. A nice place to have then though is along Keppel Road. There are many typical peppery soup base types along Balestier Road.

If you want the more herbal type and slightly cheaper, head across the causeway to a road between Sentosa and "Da Ma Hua Yuan"
Tg.Pagar Complex @ Keppel is a branch from Havelock/Isetan bldg.; = good but not so economical . Ambience is great, with housekeeping for left-over /unused tea. Most relaxing on Sun.'s & PH as it'll be void of the working crowd. Service is top class too ,as they'll 'valet ' to help pay carpark fee after we've completed our meal.
On top of that,FREE desert is offered on Sun.'s too.
Alternatively, there's a value for money working lunch @ Bedok N.Str.1;Blk 216[next to Bedok office].Closed on Sun.s' ;=[ . Easy parking access.Walking distance from Bedok interchange/MRT. Cheers to HAPPi dining 8-)
Balestier's got quite a few renowned bakuteh stores, I think it should be safe to try one of them. Otherwise you could always refer to ; the blogger Leslie seems to know what he's talking about, plus he's trustworthier than Makansutra haha.
Thks for the great ref. - . I'll use it . ;=} Cheers 8-)
