Question

What is the highest cascade in Sri Lanka?

Location

Country: Sri Lanka

Answers

Bambarakanda
I think its the highest waterfall, but does it Qualify for a Cascade, as I have not seen a series of falls. just my opinion, would like to clarify if im wrong.
A cascade is a type of waterfall or a series of waterfalls. Bambarakanda is not a cascade when that meaning. I suggest the highest cascade in Sri Lanka is in Knuckles Range. The name of it is Girindi Ella. It has seven drops and absolutely very higher than Bambarakanda. It is looks like a direct dropping waterfall from far away. It has not explored and measured. Even not in the lists of waterfalls in Sri Lanka. We invite people who interested, come and measure it with us.
Bambarakanda in Badulla is the highest cascade in Sri Lanka and 240 meters high.

Well,
My elder brother, I want to give publicity for a unknown but very high cascade (not a well known waterfall ) in Knuckles Range. The real meaning of our tourism is exploration, not beaten tracks.
It is natural heritage to Kandy but very unknown.
Thank you for mentioning the famous waterfalls.
