Motorbiking advice

I need to know stuff to take, the best routes etc. going thru france then switzerland. Spain. Meditterraen coast, sevile, Salmanca then ferry back to Bilbao. Advice, tips and checklist would be tops!

Country: France

I cannot advise you on a route as you do not say where you will be entering France. Generally the motorways are faster but many are toll roads. The next fastest are Routes Nationales denoted by a red sign with the letter N. It can be a nuisance to get stuck behind lorries sometimes on these roads but otherwise they are good. Smaller roads, often marked by a yellow letterD are local, scenic, winding routes that will take you through picturesque countryside with old, sometimes medieval villages and small towns where you can discover rural France and its beauties off the tourist routes. If you are camping there are many sites clearly marked and local tourist offices will point you to places that may interest you. Enjoy your tour
About stuff to take;you will need to have your driving licence, passport and insurance papers with your bike all the time and have to use a crash helmet. As for France,if you wear glasses for driving you must carry a spare pair, there are plenty of garages around, fuel readily available for your bike. Public drinking water is safe. You should not have difficulty finding food as every town seems to have its array of supermarkets ATM machines and weekly street markets. Shops close at around midday until 2pm - a full 2 hours - in many places so shop later or earlier.
