First of all, what are your special interests and what do you want to see. Do you want to have interaction with locals, see places of interest, be involved in community and cultural activities or educational tours? Based on your choice a special package can be put in place for you.
Start by booking into a hotel. I;ll prefer either the Golden Tulip or Alisa, if you're upscale tourist. If not you can check into the Penta Hotel or the Guest Hotel. The day after you arive, visit the city.
Go to the Kwame Nkrumah memorial park, the Kwame Nkrumah museum, the art market and the fishing villages. Visit some beaches, i'll prefer the Bojo beach or the labadi beach.
At nite, visit the Accra mall for a movie and end it at the Boomerang nite club.
The next 3 days, leave Accra to Cape Coast. Visit the Cape Coast Castle, the museum and some beaches. Move on to the longest canopy walkway in Africa-the Kakum National park. Visit the Elmina Castle and the Busua beach.
Leave Cape Coast and head for the Eastern region, visit the Boti falls, the Aburi Gardens and the Shai Hills.
Climb up North to Kumasi, and drive to the Buabeng Monkey Santuary in Sunyani and Climb futher to the North to the Paga Crocordile pond and the white volta river.
Come down again to the volta region, visit the Wli water falls, the Akaa water falls and take a boat trip accross the volta lake.
Come back to Accra and party at some more nite clubs- the Aphrodisiac, the Indigo, the Office, the Warehouse and Vienna city.
