hello, actually the best way to go is by airplane, but if you want to have more fun and see more things, then you go from amman to el_lembi bridge which is about an hour and half drive from amman, and after that you do one more hour drive from the the bridge,.for the visa i am afraid it depends on your nationality, like americans and europians and some other nationalities such as austaralians may get the visa just on the bridge, but if it was a restricted nationality then it is not possible untill you get the visa from the ambassy which is in your place where you are.if you don't want to have an israelis stamp on your passport as well, then please let me know so i help to have it on a paper outside the passport,by the way i am a travel agent, and it would be an honor of mine to help you preparing your whole tour, let me know please if you are interested so i write you in a more formel way that may fit all your questions.best wishes
well this depends at your nationality for the iseaely government not for our government sir.

If you take the King Hussien bridge, which is the fastest way (45 min to border), you will need to get a visa before arriving. I recommend getting it in your home country. If you do not have a visa, you can get one on arrival in Isreal/Palestine at the Sheikh Hussien Bridge (Jordan Valley Crossing) to the north. It will take you about an hour and a half to drive there.

The King Hussien Bridge/Allenby Crossing is the easiest to get transportation to Jerusalem from. If you take this remember to keep about 40 USD when you leave Israel/Palestine for exit fee.
It`s depending on your Nationality
