Hello,
Although I admit I haven't been everywhere in Europe, I can't think of a more romantic destination than Paris... The Eiffel Tower itself is perhaps the epitome of "romantic images", and that's only the beginning... There are countless fountains, and hundred's of fantastic gardens to wander through - arm in arm, of course. I happen to think that there is nothing quite as romantic as sharing a glass of wine sitting on an outdoor terrace of a Parisian cafe - watching the people go by... Later on, Paris - the city of lights - dishes out a panoply of romantic offerings. Depending on your personal preferences, you may choose to indulge in one of the many famous Cabaret Shows: The Moulin Rouge, The Lido, or Crazy Horse, to name a few. Or if you prefer, you can go to the Opera, or to see a fabulous Chamber music concert in possibly the most beautiful "chamber" in the world - the Saint Chapelle, with its fine intricate gold covered walls and famous stained glass. Romance fills the air you breathe in Paris - its difficult to go anywhere without stumbling onto a couple necking on a bench under a Parisian Street Lamp... Bring your fanciest outfits - here is a city where you can feel comfortable dressed up - fashion and romance are entertwined in the culture of this city which never stops...

Please visit my website for more information and ideas. I propose romantic excursions throughout the Paris region, and elsewhere in France: visits to the Champagne region with tours of the most famous Champagne wineries... or tours through the Loire valley - where you can visit the most romantic castles in the world! Bon Voyage!
I suggest that you first find out what sort of activities give them the most pleasure. If they like cities, then of course Paris is the obvious choice. Personally I would hate that and prefer the sea or countryside. In my area of the Lot, there are tranquil days canoeing on the Dordogne, browsing markets, medieval towns and castles, and all tranquil country persuits in beautiful rural wooded surroundings with plenty of choice of accommodation from simple B&B to town or country hotels. I wish them every happiness

I agree with the others that I consider Paris a favorite romantic destination. However if you want to consider others, try doing the romantic road in Germany and stay in the city of Rothenberg ob de Tauber, the prettiest of all the villages in the route.

I also consider Positano one of the most romantic places in Europe. Check out my blog post for some details:

I guess this will be the perfect place for a honeymoon :)
I have zero commercial interests, but would recommend Vienna in a heartbeat.

Does the couple enjoy multi-cultural neighborhoods, modern art, and modern theater? Easy to find!

But if the couple is looking for something in a more traditionally romantic sense, it's easy to find. The historic city center has beautiful architecture, and it is popular to go on horse-drawn carriage rides through the streets. It is fairly easy to get tickets to go to the famous opera or to the theater, and afterwards go to one of Vienna's famous coffee houses for some coffee and cake. The former Habsburg palaces are breathtaking, and their gardens kept up, even in the winter.

Using public transportation, it takes 30 minutes to get to the famous vineyards and wine restaurants in Grinsing. For an Eastern take, on the train it is 15€ round-trip and an hour to get to either Hungary or Bratislava. Slovakia is on the euro, and Bratislava is still pretty inexpensive, has a gorgeous old town with signs in Slovakian and English, and is not overrun with western tourists yet.

In addition, I would say that Vienna is a lot safer than Paris (it's really common for peddlers to stand outside tourist attractions with things like chintzy metal Eiffel Towers and sometimes even follow tourists or grab their arms, trying to get them to buy stuff - these peddlers just don't exist in Vienna.) In cities like Paris, it's also expected that you dress at least business casual, all the time. Jeans, tennis shoes, and a non-t-shirt are the norm in Vienna, and it's stepped up in theaters, the opera, etc.
Hi! As everybody else mentioned, it really depends on what your clients perceive as romantic - mountains, seaside, historical sites, etc. I think Italy can offer lots of little romantic towns, such as Sperlonga (between Rome & Napoli), Agrigento in Sicily, the island of Capri, even big cities as Firenze. If they prefer to visit unspoilt places, then definitely let them come to the Bulgarian mountains. As far as I know, Montenegro and Croatia can also offer lots of romantic sites. Good luck with your difficult task :)
Definitely Venice
I think is Bulgaria u can see here
Depending on the time of travel , Paris could be nice and active, south of France beautiful landscape & life style, Italy, Swizerland is very natural & quiet if you need to be alone.
