Which is the best hotel to stay in in Vegas?

We need a decent, not too expensive hotel for a couple in Vegas for just two nights. We are not interested in a party atmosphere.Which place do you suggest?

City: Las Vegas

State: Nevada

Country: United States

I have always loved staying at the Venetian. They have some cool stuff going on in that hotel.Great atmosphere
Vegas is slow right now due to the economy so you can get a great deal anywhere. The NICEST AND CLASSIEST places are Encore, Wynn, Venetian, and Bellagio. All 5-star joints that are more luxurious and a little less "party" Give those a shot. I always find better rates on rather than the hotels own website. good luck
If you are looking for a party hotel go to The Palms, Venetian, Paris Cesars Place seem to be an older crowd. TI (use to be Treasure Island) is a great spot to. For a really hot spot stay at The Hard Rock.
Dear William, In answer to your question I would suggest that you consider a 1 bedroom luxuriously appointed condominuim that I have available off the south end of the strip about 4 miles, away from all the noise for the price of a basic hotel room down on the strip. I would be happy to send you some pictures and give you a free no obligation quote? If it's for 2 days or two weeks the price is the best around for a unit of this quality! You will be thankful for calling me! the Travelguy4u at I look forward to helping you soon!
Right now the least expensive hotel on the strip is the Circus Circus starting at $25.00 a night. My best advice is if this is your first time and plan on going back to Vegas. Stay at a cheaper hotel like Circus Circus but play at the hotel you want to stay in the future. Join their players club card like Harrahs Total Rewards and rack up point when you play slots or table games. These points can be used for food, shopping and free or discounted stays in the future.
However, if you've never been to Circus Circus, you must like kids!!! Yep, there is a real circus, an arcade, a campground, and an amusement park at the hotel. It is a one of the best campgrounds in the country for just those fact. Also Circus Circus is in the older part of the strip, and it is too hot to walk it except at night. I know, I tried. But there are $1 Heinekens two doors down on your right as you leave the Circus. Remember, it is a desert.
As a Las Vegas based travel agent I have the the most fantastic place to stay for only the price of a standard hotel room down on the strip (Please see my profile?)I can place you in an immaculate 1 bedroom condominium with a full kitchen, washer & dryer, separate living room dining area, Master bedroom & bathroom suite with a whirlpool tub!Best of all it is located 5 miles south off the main las vegas strip (nice and quite)next to Southpoint Casino!
