Question

Wedding Planner Needed

Hi, I am looking for someone who can plan and arrange my fiancee and I's wedding. She is Thai and I am English. We live in Thailand. We only want the 'ceremony' wedding as we will arrange the legal amphur wedding ourselves. - We are aiming at April next year (2010) date yet to be confirmed as we need to visit the monks to find a good day. - We want the ceremony on a beach fairly near Bangkok eg. Hua Hin, Cha-am etc. (Not Pattaya). We would concider further away from BKK if the price was good. - Also we would want the reception and one nights stay in a hotel for about 10-15 guests. Transport to and from BKK for these guests also. Please let me know if anyone thinks they can do this for us and I will let you know more details about what we require should you be able to help. Many Thanks Andrew Potten

HI Andrew,

My wife (Thai National) arranged a wedding for an Australian couple in Chiang Mai but can also be arranged anywhere. They wanted a more western style wedding however a Thai style wedding can be arranged also. You can see the video at

Hi Randy & Ning,

Thank you for your reply. So we are looking at around 70,000 - 90,000 baht. We would prefer a more Thai style wedding. We don't want anything to upscale, just a nice simple wedding and reception for 10-15 guests.

We have a good quote of 80,000 from Anantara Resort, Hua Hin which includes most of what we want, but we feel it is a bit upscale for us. We are simple people and prefer more simple things in life.

Hi Andrew and Sukanya,

We made some inquires and no problem doing this much cheaper depending on your wishes. Please make sure anyone or any company who arranges this for you is registered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand not a fly by day company or individual who is not truly Qualified. We want you to have the best wedding possible for your budget as it is a once in a lifetime experience for you like Ning and I and our friends had. Your wishes and desires will always be top priority with us.

Sincerely,
Randy and Ning
HI Andrew,

I would like to have a conversation with you on the phone since you are in Thailand. My wife Ning will have lots of questions to ask you so we can plan this correctly for you. Her English is perfect so no worries.

You can email your number to us through our web site at

We will get back you as soon as possible most likely early evening.

I just finished talking with our manager and she has family in Hua Hin and if this is where you want your wedding we can have food catered and everything to a secluded beach for you and your guests, no worries. This will be a great experience for you and fun for us. We love to make dreams come true. Here is our TAT number and address to show we are real.

Dear Andrew,

Excellent, I live in Hua Hin and have basically helped friends arrange weddings on the beach (romantic).. so if you wanted to send me more info via my email: on how many guest you have, would you like a buddhist ceremony? or a priest to conduct the wedding? and importantly budget wise, as this is what we use to basically plan your wedding.

The Laguna Resort in Phuket is renowned for its weddings, they do have a really nice chapel and a pristine beach. I am sure they can offer you a good price.
I have never heard about a thai wedding with only 10 - 15 guests. What you look for is a ceremony with monks and stuff. that should cost you under 40.000,- baht with everything. I can set you in contact with the right people in Hua Hin - Cha Am area if you want.
A friend of mine owns the resort in Hua Hin and she can arrange everything for you if you interetsed.
Hello,
congratulations on your wedding.
The Evason in Phuket and the Kata Thani Hotel in Phuket do have very interesting "wedding packages". They vary in size and in budget and it is very easy to have a look at these packages by simply contacting the hotels.
Check out these places :

Check them out. I am not a wedding planner but had a nice wedding of my own. These places are great for small wedding....
