What's your idea of adventure? You can go on a game hunting safari - shooting pigs, goats or buffalo. You can go to the Great Barrier Reef and dive or snorkel. There are many places for hang-gliding, parachuting, parasailing at various beaches. Try rock climbing and/or abseiling right in the centre of Brisbane at Kangaroo Point.
Visit Australia Park Zoo, where Steve Irwin was. You'll see workers with crocs and dingos, but you won't be able to go inside the pens.
Go to the Willowbank Speedway - that's a hoot! They have some great events.

I've tried to give a wide variety - you gave no indication of what you think of when you're thinking 'adventure'. Hope this helps.
This depends a little on where you want to go in Queensland - it's over 3000 km from top to bottom and as you can imagine offer every sort of adventure. At the bottom, the Gold Coast offers helicopters, bungee jumping, parasailing, jet skiing, surfing etc. etc. as do many other beach communities up the coast, including the Sunshine Coast just north of Brisbane. If you like rides and theme parks, there's Dreamworld, Movie World and Sea World.

The Sunshine Coast is also home to Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin territory) and the Big Kart Track with its bungee bullet. As you had north you can enjoy the delights of diving and snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef, or head inland to go fossicking for sapphires on the fields at Anakie and Rubyvale - or even further across to visit Longreach and eventually Mt Isa - a wild outback city.

As you get right up you can enjoy 4WD safaris to the rainforest and further on up to the tip of Cape York or truly adventure into the wilds by heading to Normanton on the Gulf.

You could also enjoy the outback with a stay on a working station. Many station stays allow you to join in on the everyday activities of a working sheep or cattle property. Some of the activities that you may be able to witness or participate in include: mustering, shearing, drafting, driving property vehicles, taking property tours, fencing, fishing and observing flora and fauna.

Queensland has it all really. You are totally spoiled for choice :-)
