We're planning to stay at the Ginza Tokyu Hotel in a few months but can't seem to get a reservation. Is the hotel closed ???

City: Tokyo

Prefecture: Tokyo

Country: Japan

Ginza Tokyu Hotel was a hotel in Ginza, Tokyo.
Built in 1960, the 10 storey hotel was initially the only 4-star hotel.
It closed in May 2001.
Yes. It closed long time ago. There is another hotel nearby named "Courtyard Marriot".
As Ninja said, it has been closed for about 10 years. There are quite a few hotels in the area, though. Depending on your budget, here are my top 3:
Luxury: Hotel Seiyo Ginza
Middle: Mercure Tokyo Ginza
Lower: Tokyu Stay Shinbashi

When my parents visit or relatives visit, I usually put them up for a night at the Seiyo Ginza. It is a great place. The Mercure is where I usually recommend for out-of town business partners. It is reasonably priced and close to everything. The Tokyu is pretty much the low-end (or as low as I will stay).
Probably not the same property, but in relatively the same neighborhood. Good luck!
