Depend on where will you visit ?
thats right, we can give u more advice if we know where you're going to visit
here are my tips:
- Beaches in the south are always lovelier than in the North, much cleaner and the water is more crystal clear.
- In my opinion, i think the people in the south are nicer too. I've been to Da Nang and i love people there; they're friendly, honesty and willing to help. (though Da Nang is not really in the south).
-The weather in the north is usually cooler than in the south.

will post more as soon as i can think more about this, time to sleep :P
hope they will be helpful when u come to vietnam
Hello,

There are certain places you should visit in Vietnam, from my personal point of view. Generally, you will find it more interesting in the central and south than in the north.

Here are places you should visit:
1. The North:
Hanoi: Capital City. Stay at the old quarter.

Visit Halong Bay. The best way to see Halong Bay is to buy a 2 days & 1 night cruise tour. You will see it so nice. Much better than just coming to halong and buy a 4 hours ticket on board to see the Bay. I experienced it and I guarantee travelling by cruise is the best way. Not so expensive. One of the good quality at reasonable price is Bhaya Cruise at

Visit Sapa: You buy train ticket at the travel agent (so many the old quarter). That is on the mountain and Foreigners love to see Sapa.

2. The Central:
Visit Hue, Danang and Hoi An. Should spend 3 days in Hue, I think, to visit the historical places. Then move to Danang. Actually, I think you can skip Danang and head to Hoi An. Hoi An is very lovely. Could spend several days in Hoi An.

Nha Trang: A must-see beach in Vietnam if you love beaches.

Phan Thiet: If you love beaches and enjoy resorts, then stay here. Otherwise, just skip it.

All of these places, you could buy Open Bus Ticket (traditionally is Sing Cafe) easily at the low prices.

3. The South
Ho Chi Minh City: Economic heart of Vietnam. But not much to see

Mekong Delta tour (3 days) - experienced the culture of mekong delta people. You will see it very different from the North

Hope my information help!
or simply google "Phong Nha Farmstay"

For 20 days, spend 1 week in the north, 7 week in the central and few days in the south with my suggestions as follow:

Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Day 2: Hanoi city tour - night train to Sapa
Day 4: Sapa trekking
Day 5: Sapa
Day 6: Sapa - Hanoi by train
Day 7: Hanoi - Halong Bay
Day 8: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Hue
Day 9: Hue city tour
Day 10: Hue - Hoi An
Day 11: Hoi An tour
Day 12: Hoi An island tour
Day 13: Hoi An - Nha Trang
Day 14: Nha Trang
Day 15: Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh city
Day 16: Ho Chi Minh city tour
Day 17: Ho Chi Minh - Mekong delta
Day 18: Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh
Day 19: Relax
Day 20: departure

Hope that this itinerary goes well with your travel plan.

Vietnam Adventures ( )

Hi sir, There are many places in Vietnam
I can suggest you but i wanna know which transportation do you use? Motobike or trekking?
If you want trekking you can go to Cao Bang - Pac Bo - where Ho Chi Minh used to live there, the water of the string there is so beautiful or join a group trek to Fansipan, thats such an interesting adventure.
If you join a tour you can go to Ha Long - Tra Co Beach or Quan Lan Beach. Spend 2,3 days there. Continue your trip with Hanoi, visit Old Street, take picture there, go to Ceramic Village to make some things urself. Go to National Park in Ninh Binh. It takes 4,5 days to go around Hanoi.
Then, you should go to Hue and enjoy the Festival there, Hoi An.. You also can go to Da Nang with Ba Na Hills, the best resort in Da Nang. It takes you at least 1 week.
The last destination of course Ho Chi Minh, you should go to the Float Market in The South-Westem of Vietnam, so interesting there.
I advice you should find a Vietnamese guide, only one who you can trust to take this trip with you.
Have a good time!
i do love Ba Na Hills and Hoi An :)
