Location

Country: Vietnam

Answers

plenty to visit on the way ! Hoi An, Central Highlands (Kontum, Pleiku, Buon Ma Thuot), Beaches from Nha Trang and Mui Ne ...
I also suggest you to visit in between cos there are many nice places between Hue and Saigon, i'm sure you can find out some way to travel in your budget but still can see many places. Take care and have a nice trip.
If I had to choose one place between Hue & Saigon for budget & time reasons, I would go to Julia Shaw's for the windy sand dune beaches, people I am likely to meet & try sailing. I am NOT saying the other destinations in between aren't worth while but if I wanted a unique experience beyond the usual sightseeing, I would go catch the wind
You have the opportunity to be at so many beach resorts on your way from Hue to HCMC. They are lovely beaches...Bus rides are pretty cheap although they are time consuming!
There're many places worth visiting between Hue and Sai Gon, so don't waste this opportunity, guy. Don't worry so much about your budget, cos the cost for bus and mini hotel is pretty cheap. I recommend u to visit Hoi An, Nha Trang, Daklak, Da Lat cos every place there has their own specific culture and somethin' else. Enjoy ur trip ^^
This is an easy question. Visit betwen Hue and Saigon. One of my favourite trips within Vietnam is on the train betwen Hue and Saigon. The train is a lovely way to see any country and this part of Vietnam is no exception. Grab a book, may I suggest 'Saigon' and learn some history as you are also gazing out the window. I even enjoyed this trip when it was the old red rattler train! Today we travel in airconditioned comfort. It is still a very memorable trip. As with any train trip make sure to start a conversation with a local, so you get the local perspective of the countryside you are passing through.
