I would not worry much, however I suggest to stay clear of any border area between Thailand and Cambodia.
I live in Chiang Mai, the North part of Thailand. Actually, there's nothing to worry about because the border area and the place for tourists to go travel is quite far and still, the conflict doesn't spread out from where the boarders are. So, for the tourists destination in Thailand, which you might be going to Bangkok, Chiang Mai or maybe to the South part to visit the Islands, I can say that there's nothing to be worry. Hope you have a good time.
no need to worry. There's not related about traveling of both countries, just stay away from border that's enough
Just stay away from that actual area if you want to be on the safe side.... but it's really just a minor spat.
Hello. I live very close to the area in dispute, the area only around the border is the place where the tension is. The other parts of Thailand are open as usual for travellers, so just plan your trip not to include border areas and all will be fine.
Remember a lot of this is media hype also.

have a pleasant trip, Derek,
Just dont go to the border area than you will be fine and have a great holliday
Hi,
We are close to the border (Koh Chang) around 120 km from Cambodia, but everything is quiet here. Even to go there to do the visa run is no problem.
