Offered Services

Airport & Ground Transportation Fly to the Mara

Day 1: Masai Mara
Be ready for collection from your hotel at 8.00 am and 2.00 pm You depart from the civil aviation airport (Wilson) and fly for 45 minutes across the Great Rift Valley to arrive at the small airstrip near your Lodge in the Maasai Mara. Your accommodation, on full board, with all games drives, is at your Lodge for the night. After check in and lunch you depart for your first exciting game drive in the Mara. The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is the home of the largest concentrations of animals in Kenya and is the northern extension of the famous Tanzania Serengeti National Park. It is in this area that the annual migration of wildebeeste, accompanied by the predators, takes place (normally between June and September). Resident wildebeeste always dot the plains. Huge prides of lion live in the Mara; cheetahs are often found on the plains. There are large herds of elephant and buffalo (but sadly few rhino remain). Impala, zebra, giraffe, the unusual topi, and many other antelope graze across the famous grassy plains. The birdlife in the Mara is fantastic.

Day 2: Maasai Mara
An early morning game drive before breakfast (or the opportunity of taking the exciting balloon safari optional arrangement) Full day at Masai Mara with Morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 3: Nairobi
After breakfast it is time to return to Nairobi on the schedule service. You arrive in Nairobi before lunch at the end of your safari This safari can be extended on request by extra nights. Each night includes full board accommodation over 24 hours and two game drives.

Wildlife Tours Amboseli National Park

Day 1: Amboseli
Leaving Nairobi, you drive out on the main Mombasa road, turning off through the small village of Athi and continuing south towards the Tanzania border. Near to Namanga on the border you turn left and on to a dirt road leading to Amboseli National Park. This Park is a seasonal swamp; during the wet season the waters spill over a large area, attracting many different animals and a great variety of birds. During the dry weather the swamp dries up, and the landscape is alive with swirling 'dust devils' and a shimmering mirage. The Park is always dominated by the huge bulk of Mt. Kilimanjaro, at 5895 metres, the highest mountain in Africa. The sheer beauty of this magnificent mountain in the early morning or late evening is an unforgettable sight. This evening you game drive through the Park to arrive at your base for two nights. Elephant often browse nearby and the grounds are alive with birdsong throughout the day

Day 2: Amboseli
The day starts early with a morning game drive in the clear light of dawn when the mountain stands proud in the sky above. Amboseli is renowned for its herds of elephant and the classic photograph of Africa is an elephant striding out purposefully in front of the mountain. Game is easily seen. There are large herds of buffalo, but the cat family are more difficult. Lion and cheetah are occasionally seen. Giraffe, zebra and a variety of antelope proliferate. Bird watching is a delight and the smaller animals such as monkeys, mongoose and wart hog may be spotted. After breakfast there is another opportunity for a game drive in a different direction to that of the early morning, returning to the lodge in time for lunch. Alternatively you may prefer to stay and enjoy a swim in the pool during the morning. After lunch time to rest, and then an evening game drive, looking for the animals searching for their evening 'dinner'. You return to the Lodge in good time for your own dinner

Day 3: Nairobi
After an early breakfast, you drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the city before lunch at the end of your safari

Camping Camping in Nairobi, Kenya

Activity: Trekking, Wildlife,Birdlife,Camping,Scenery,Photography

Most of the Aberdare Range (the highest point being ‘Lesatima’ at about 4,000m/13,120ft) falls within the confines of the Aberdare National Park, which encloses the high mountains, plus a great area of lower forest called the Salient where most of the park’s big game is found. Beyond the forest are areas of bush and open grassy moor land – an ideal place for wilderness trekking. o ne special feature of the region is the Karuru Waterfalls, which are the highest in Kenya plunging 273 m (895 ft) in three steps.

Note: Clients should arrange to have good weatherproof clothing, a warm sleeping bag, a water bottle, good walking shoes and a comfortable pair of shoes to wear in camp.

Day 1 - Mweiga

We depart our office in the morning and go north to Mweiga to meet our guide and then up into the forested eastern slopes of the Aberdares ranges where we make camp.Mweiga is located in the Nyeri Area. Nyeri was first a British fort founded in 1903 by early British settlers. In the fifties, the Nyeri area and the Aberdare Mountains were o n the front line of the “Mau Mau” uprising.

Day 2 & 3 - Walking

The next 2 days will be spent walking; carrying o nly what is needed for the day’s walk. After each days walk, we will be met by the vehicle in the moor lands where a suitable clearing will be allocated to set up camp. If weather permits, we may also have an option of a game drive – a welcoming chance to relieve ourselves from the walking. Walking is always cool with plenty of clear mountain trout filled streams. Our walk starts below the bamboo forest, climbing up o nto the moor lands.

Day 4 – Nairobi

We depart the moor land camp (10,000ft) and descend by vehicle looking for game along the way. We drop off the guide and head back to Nairobi arriving before dusk
