Regional Landscape Park “Nadsluchanski” is known as Ukrainian Switzerland. This place is situated near town Berezne, Rivne region. Area of the park is 17 thousand hectares. It was created in 2000 and is now under protection of law.

Arboretum in Berezne was founded in 1979 not far from the forest college, when from initiative of the former headmaster Novosad M.M. works on arboretum creation began. On 30 hectors of vacant plot of ground in conditions of Polesia foresters managed to place examples of plants from five continents. Nowadays there are over 900 species of trees.
And some species of trees on the territory of Ukraine you can find only in Berezne. Except trees, you can see many species of animals there. Several years ago scientist-ornithologist counted 57 species of birds in 2 hour observation. Children are very happy to see hare, fox, squirrel and other animals during the tour. To get acquainted with nature of arboretum one should walk along observation paths that reach 7 km.
