The Cajon del Maipo starts 30 kilometres South of Santiago,and starts going into the Andean range.It is an amazing trip on this crazy canyon,with many rivers joining,plenty of cactus,waterfalls,after a drive of 60 kilometers inside the Canyon,we will start to go inside a very narrow pass into the Andes range,were the scenery of the mountains is breathtaking,until we reach the end of the road only a few Kilometers from the Argentinian border.In winter will arrive until the snow will stop us. On our way back thru a different route touring thru the best wine area in Chile,which is Pirque,with is colonial sorroundings,beautifull counstryside passing thru Viña Concha y Toro and other vineyards.And going back to Santiago on the old Panamerican highway.
