| About me: | Hey there! I'm an architect and college professor, deeply in love with my country. I love to show tourists around and make them realize how special this paradise is. As a traveler, I like to mingle, to understand a place and not just look at it superficially. I like to try the food, see the real stuff, and of course, the touristy things. Similarly, I like to provide visitors with advises and opportunities to feel and experience the same in Ecuador. |

My professional activities leave me with plenty of time to help you out while visiting Ecuador. As a professional developer and professor, I can show you anything from culture and sightseeing to a more focused tour including real estate options. I'm currently working in Manta and San Clemente, two magnificent locations that have been chosen by all sorts of people, from surfers to families and retirees. Within Quito, I can take you to several different places and tours any day of the week, depending on your interests. That includes cultural tours, sightseeing, dining, barhopping, museums, etc. I can also offer lodging in different locations. I can provide short-term lodging at Quito, the valley and Riobamba.
Offered Services
San Clemente
Come and enjoy an almost virgin beach, secluded in a quiet environment. Try the most amazing seafood and experience a peaceful retreat.
This tour is tailored according to the tourist's needs, and the price covers lodging. Food and other services are extra.
The Old Town. Routes less traveled
Let's see. Surrounding the "tourist bubble" in Central Quito, there are traditional quarters where you can still see how Quito was 30 years ago. The routes are animated with minor monasteries, spectacular views from hilltops, markets and non-commercial crafts. Want to meet real residents and share their insights?
The Old Town revealed
I can show you the site better :)
The Historic District of Quito is the largest and least altered colonial town in the Americas. It became the first site on the UNESCO World's Heritage List in 1978.
Allow me to show you around as we walk through historic places. We will explore streets and landmarks that make Quito unique.
Museum fees are not included in the price.
Lodging
Relax in any of my four available locations. A 2-bedroom apartment in Quito is close to the main touristic points. A house in the valley is perfect if you want to explore the surrouding countryside. Our house in the rural area provides easy access to Cotopaxi and Ilinizas mountains in case you want to do mountain climbing, and our apartments at San Clemente are the perfect site to enjoy the beach.
Architecture in Quito
Who's better qualified to show you Quito's architecture than a young, reflexive architect?
I have designed this one-day tour specially for architects and fans, but of course everybody is welcome. Forget dates or styles. This is a tour, not a lecture! :)
The Old Town at night
Join me to experience Quito's colonial heritage at night, as we walk through lighted streets.
Tanicuchi
We leave Quito early in the morning to visit a small farm in the Cotopaxi province. Itinerary includes a stop for breakfast on the countryside and a visit to the crafts market in Saquisili (on Thursdays).
We'll drive, so you just need to chip in for gas. Breakfast and souvenirs will be off your own expense.
This tour is also recommended for people willing to do mountain climbing. Cotopaxi and the Ilinizas are less than half an hour away from our property, and you can stay overnight for 3.50 a night.
Traditional dishes

Price:
Want to try traditional food from the highlands? Or maybe the fabulous dishes from the coast? How about the traditional bread, treats and beverages in Quito? Want to visit cafes that have been alive for over 70 years?
