| About me: | I'm fully occupied in Marketing and Advertising but I used to be travel guide some 7-8 years ago. Speaking about art and history is useless if you never look through the magnifying glass of the one who is not familiar with the local culture so I always try to bring people to the modern context. I'm not professional travel guide any longer and I am proud of it. I'm not after the usual travel pick ups at the airport, dinners and smoky and noisy restaurants and lectures on history. * I can help you find good transport to Sofia. * I can assist you with accommodation. * I can tell you people's point of view on history, sights and locations (you have read the history and facts in LonelyPlanet and Wikipedia anyway). * I can take you to places for dinner, snack or good drink. * I can take you to more or less underground bars with modern Bulgarian bands playing live. * I can take you shopping to small shops where prices won't cut your head. * The distance from the Sofia center to the Vitosha ski run is less than 20-30 min by car and I snowboard so it will be great to spend a day in the mountain in winter. * In summer there are plenty of places for water sports around and I can take you there - there is a spot for the wakeboard lovers, a few spots for windsurfing and kayak as well, all within 30-50 minutes drive. * There are a few places for horse riding as well and rates are reasonable. And last but not least: I speak English and Spanish... though I don't have the chance to speak Spanish frequently and I'm not quite confident when I use it, but we can get along! :)
