Jamaica is blessed with water, including a number of cascading waterfalls. The most famous is Dunn's River Falls, near Ocho Rios. Dunn's River falls into the sea in many cascades. The lay out of the steps with the water running across is the biggest attraction of the waterfalls which is considered one of the main sightseeing spots of Jamaica. Even the non-athletic visitors are able to climb up the waterfalls with a local guide. Other water falls that are worthy of note are YS Falls, Mayfield Falls, Reach Falls and Somerset Falls. Discover the beauty of the South Coast with a 1 1/2 hour boat tour by motor launch up Jamaica's largest navigable river and through what is Jamaica's largest wetland area, the Black River lower morass.

Over 100 species of birds have been recorded in the Black River morass and many are seen during your trip.
