Some people say I have a guardian angel looking after me, one person said I have a team. I am a father of four great and independent children who have made me a Grandfather five times thus far. Why did I end up in Prague? For Dana and love. |

Cash Exchange

Price:
I think that exchanging cash is quite an important part of travel and the rates offered around the city do vary greatly.
Now, I'm not guaranteeing that this one will beet every other in the city every day but it is the one that I use and trust to give a consistently good rate.
If you visit their web site http://exchange.cz and click on the button DEVIZY which means Currency then they have a coupon that you can print and get the VIP rate ;)
Just a little tip :)
How much will that Taxi cost?

Time travel back to the Fifteenth Century
Beer, wine, mead, or pure water will shower your dry throat in this noisy taproom.
Given the fact that you are paying a visit to the Middle Ages, don't be surprised if a cheerful barmaid is bold enough to come over all familiar or if a barman makes a scene out loud. Their behaviour is a bit rough, but they're basically good people.
Whether they call you a peasant or a farmer's wife, a knight, a bandit, or riff-raff, it's not because they want to offend you. It's just that the Middle Ages aren't the same as the present.

Airport & Public Transportation in Prague
Prague Public Transport consists of metro, trams and buses, plus suburban buses (lines from no.300 to no.400).
My recommendation to you is to learn the tram system straight away. You might like to add the Metro soon after but you will find both extremely easy and rewarding.
Without going into too much detail, this is what you do:
Find a ticket machine. Top left button for less than 20 minute journey, next button for up to 75 minutes (90 off peak).
When you get on the tram look for the yellow machine with a time display and put the ticket in. It will then get the time printed on it.
You can jump on and off trams, metro or buss until the time is up.
