GRAND BASSIN
This sacred place for prayers, meditation and contemplation remains the most frequented cult place of Mauritius. This lake, which fills up the crater of an inactive volcano, is surrounded by the statues of divinities glorifying the Hindu religion. It brings together nearly 40% of the population during the pilgrimage of Maha Shivaratree.

ALEXANDRA AND ROCHESTER FALLS
These waterfalls are located near the village of Souillac. The uninterrupted flow of water on the slopes of the basaltic rock moulds, day after day, its surprising curves.
CHAMAREL
Chamarel is a locality, which has an incredible natural site, consisting of various shades ranging from tan to orange, through ocher. These nuances that each year attract the curiosity of thousands of people are due to volcanic ash that have been made bare by erosion.

Giant water lilies, multiple species of palm trees, the talipot that only flowers every sixty years before dying off.
