CASCADAS Y SUENOS; A Natural Waterpark a truly wondrous, magical place shrouded in jungle, covered in waterfalls. only 25 minutes off ofthe costanera and a one minute walk from your car. the drive up the dirt san josecito road has numerous incredible views of the famous "whale's tail". at the natural water park there are countless swimming holes, a total of 17 waterfalls, the two largest of which you are able to slide down and cliff jump from. the cliff jumps range from 4-feet to 25-feet. it is incredibly gorgeous spot and all of your activites are made completely safe by the ever vigilant and helpful owner/operator, eagle scout scott smallridge. he is able to assist with anything and everything while you are there enjoying what will undoubtedly be one of the best days of your vacation.
DIRECTIONS if you are headed towards uvita from dominical, approximately 2 km. before uvita you will see a giant billboard for "rancho la merced" on your right. directly across from the billboard is a dirt road on your left. there is a small sign for comunidad San Josecito. you make this left on the san josecito road. from there you go 7.2 km. up the dirt road and then you park. on your right you will see cleared out jungle and a tent with a green roof on it.
