Ouarzazate is a new town but you have quite few things to keep you busy for a couple of days. visit the Unesco kasbah of Ait ben Haddou just 20km away, get yourself into Fint Oasis 12km away, visit kasbah Taourirt inside Ouarzazate city center, Skoura Oasis 25km away, also visit the local central market of Ouarzazate, visit the Tassoumat district near the river and on the way out to Marrakech, eat cheap at Behja restaurant in Ouarzazate, visit the Stork kasbah near the lake, visit the rose valley just on a half day trip... and more much more.
