The Grand Canal of Venice is the most spectacular high street in the world. The beautiful palaces were constructed over hundreds of years and slowly the Grand Canal became what it is today. This walking tour is an ideal introduction to Venice and to the main sights of the beautiful St Mark's Square which is like an open air museum. Our guide will explain the marvellous buildings - the Doge's Palace, The Bell tower, legends of the Clock tower and take advantage of our special pass to avoid the public queues for the Basilica of St Marks.
