Safari by Road:
Day One
Your journey eastward will take you across the rolling grasslands of the Highveld towards the majestic east Drakensberg Mountains. Drive through the well-known trout fishing towns of Belfast, Dullstroom and Lydenberg to begin the climb over the famous Long Tom Pass amongst the finest scenery in the country. From over 2000 metres the road winds down through cool forests of Pine and Eucalyptus trees to the picturesque town of Sabie. Continue onto the old gold mining village Pilgrim’s Rest. After lunch a scenic drive to The Kruger national park via Hazyview. Overnight in the park with a traditional braai a SA Braai
Day Two
Early coffee and rusks before the excitement begins with camera at the ready, hoping to find Lion and other species, such as Giraffe, Elephant, Rhino, Zebra and antelope .We have a bush brunch at waterhole or campsite. We arrive at the rest camp for dinner and overnight. As the sun sets, sip a sundowner while anticipating your spotlight night drive (optional) in an open vehicle conducted by a park ranger, searching for the various nocturnals.

Day Three
Another early wake up call before sunrise and then game viewing and a chance to find those elusive animals you have missed. After breakfast and some final photos it’s time to leave the park and head for Johannesburg to arrive at approximately 17h00.

The Pilanesberg National Park is situated in the Northwest province, 160-km northwest of Johannesburg, In an eroded volcano that is more than a million years old and one of the largest kind in the world.

Depart from the hotel and head north through fertile valleys that give way to the mighty Magaliesberg mountain range. Cross the waters of the Hartebeespoortdam with its scattered sailing boats and onto Manyane Gate for refreshments.
Board our vehicle for a game drive in the Pilanesberg National Park. Your experienced guide will ensure the best game viewing possible, at close quarters.

After lunch (clients cost) is enjoyed in the park we explore Sun City South Africa’s major pleasure resort, catering to a wide variety of leisure activities from the casinos to golf, to water sport and international entertainment. Spend an afternoon at leisure to wander through the tropical gardens or take a refreshing swim, Sip an exotic cocktail at the Cascades. Travel to Soweto, a sprawling metropolis, is one of the most famous settlements in Africa where the history of South Africa was written on the streets, in the schools and the shebeens.
This diverse and patriotic community led the war for justice and freedom during the late 1970's.
Today Soweto is a living monument of the history of political struggle along with the hopes and aspirations of a dynamic and multicultural community facing the challenges of transformations.
We travel past the "Barra" hospital and the Walter Sisulu square (Freedom square),visit Kliptown and discuss an informal settlement.Our drive takes us to "Hollywood" ,where all the stars live and visit the Mandela house museum.The newly opened Hector Peterson memorial Museum is one of our stops to see the start of the political struggle.
We pass the Regina Mundi Church, informal settlements and the normal way of life.
Wandi's shebeen is the place we have lunch.Proceeding to drive through to Johannesburg City to the top of the Carlton for a panoramic view of Johannesburg and its surrounding areas. Continue through Johannesburg past the traditional medicine market on to the informal pavement stalls and "Muti" shop of Diagonal Street.
We the visit the SAB centenary center were we discover the secrets of ancient beer brewing. Ukambo tradition reveals the secret of making sorghum beer within African culture, go back in time and experience a real 1965 shebeen.

Finally in the comfortable setting of the Tap room with its view of down town Johannesburg we invite you to relax and enjoy a glass or two of your favorite beer (included)
