I am the creator of www.natureofcyprus.org and walked, most of the island many times (also explored on mountain bike and car). I am also the author of a book called 'Guide on Nature of Cyprus' which includes info on about 200 nature spots on teh island (beaches, walking trails, wetlands, waterfalls, sea caves, etc). I offer customised trips to interested groups to various locations on the island. For such activities I particularly recommend Paphos forest, Akamas peninsula and Troodos forest.

Paphos Forest and Troodos have many hidden beautiful locations, luscious green valleys, streams that run all year round, elusive moufflon, endemic plants, rich biodiversity, barren peaks, picturesque vilages and Unesco World Heritage sites. Thee are very easy walks, as well as others for more fit walkers. Dont leave Cyprus without exploring the area.
