About me:
Originally from Wisconsin, after completing a Masters degree in Ethnomusicology with Brazilian music as my area of research, I moved to Salvador, Brazil in 2001. I started one of Salvador's first online vacation rental websites, that grew into a real estate sales and rentals consultancy and eventually the opening of the Paradise Properties Bahia Real Estate Agency right in front of the beach in Salvador's Porto da Barra. With the travel needs of our clients in mind, I've also recently expanded into the travel sector with a new business - Paradise Travel Brazil. Although running these businesses is a more of a handful than I bargained for, I try to make as much time as possible for enjoying the things I love most about Bahia - the people, the beaches and the music. Salvador is a beautiful place, unlike any other in Brazil or anywhere else for that matter. Hope to see you here someday!
