Beautiful place with many things to do. My favorite is just to walk along the "rambla" seaside on the peninsula, and visit the yacht port. Lot of nice restaurantes nearby, lot of hotels and apartments to rent. Estancias nearby, natural beaches, and crowded ones... During January hundred of thousands of tourists and lot of things to do, from parasailing, to dance until the sun raises.

Is Beautiful Place!!! cute for pictures!!! Punta del este es un balneario ideal para turistas, en la Av. principal se encuentran varios restaurants, esta la plaza de los Artesanos muy espectacular para adquiris recuerdos típicos, se puede visitar el Faro y se podrá apreciar toda la península, en las mañanas temprano se puede asistir a la parte de pesca y ver a los Lobos Marinos hacerle compañía a los pescadores, es algo encantador, y en la noche ir a una buena discoteca!!! luego por la mañana puede sacar fotos en la Mano un sello distinguido del lugar y por último solearse en el hermoso océano!!

Mercado del Puerto

This place is a must when visiting Montevideo. It is located near the port of Montevideo in the old town in a pedestrian street. It is a 3500 square meters building from the year 1825. There you can eat the best meat in Uruguay, which is really great!! You can also have any other dish of international cuisine. Several restaurants serve food and drinks inside it. I particularly like Roldos. They serve all kinds of drinks but the one you should try is Medio y Medio de Roldos, which is the typical one. it is open 7 days a week and you can go there for lunch or dinner. If you like meat I recommend you try a Parrilada where you can try a little bit of everything. The provolne cheese is also great as an appetizer. There you will see musicians playing typical songs. On the pedestrian street you have several painters who paint typical sceneries of the candome (drums music) and artisans who sell ther hand made things such as mates.

Market were you can do shoping and enoy a nice time outside in a beautyful park, also there are Tennis courts and more. And if you like to fish, we can do a try, on the rocks of La Rambla, name of the main street. Beautiful view!! I hope you enjoy!!!

Uruguay is a country that traditionally receives travellers with the natural manner of its grounds and inhabitants. Tourists of the whole world come looking for the beauty of its sceneries and the warmth of the Uruguayans, which are a distinctive symbol of this country. To the traditional tourist places such as Punta del Este and Colonia, you can add other destinations of spectacular growth like the oceanic coast of Rocha, that in the last year increased visitors in more than 100 %. Wonderful beaches for all tastes: from almost virgins up to those that organize musical shows, and from those of wild waves up to the family oriented. Also the coast with its thermal zone is in big demand by the tourism, since these waters that emerge from big depths and at high temperatures are much valued for their therapeutic and rejuvenation properties and as well as for fun, with two aquatic parks that are the delight of young… and old.

It's a very nice Golf Club near the Rio de la Plata, actually it is the first capital city Golf Club near the sea in the world. Its Club House offers a delightful menu as well as an excellent catering service for parties. One of the best Golf Clubs in Uruguay, Golf Fans said.

An interesting street with the most famous brands, "Calle 20" is a place close to the beatiful port in Punta del Este. You will find brands like Tommy, Valentino, Fendi, Tucci, Ermenegildo Zegna, DKNY, Gap, Magma, Vicky M. Ortiz, Kosiuko, and many others Argentinian Designers. A nice experience to shop and walk around.

Meats are the specialty at this beautiful restaurant facing Puerto del Buceo, one of the prettiest spots in the city. Parrilla is served in the method called espeto corrido—grilled meats are brought to your table on a long skewer so you can slice off whatever you want. There's also a good selection of salads. There's a big deck shaded with umbrellas and with attractive views of the port and surrounding homes.

The best shopping center in Montevideo where you will be able to buy clothes, office supply and much more!! it is located in Punta Carretas, and there are many other stores around it where you can also go and buy stuff!.. Do not miss it, i totally recomend it.
