Al Johnsons Swedish Restaurant and Butik

This is a must dine at location in Door County. Lines are long and tourists thick but the pancakes light, thin, and divine. I recommend trying the swedish meatballs but all their breakfast meat is well prepared. The coffee is dark and rich and, for kids, the hot chocolate sweet and topped with a mountain of whipped cream. Be sure to look for the goats on the roof in the summer. And if you get there before 9am, the wait is much more reasonable.

Regner Park

This is a nice park that the whole family can enjoy. It has a small lake for swimming and a kiddie water park. Lots of toys for the kids to enjoy while being outside. They have trails you can walk in the woods. A nice place to have a family picnic, or a Big family get together.

The West bend Art Museum is a wonderful peaceful place to go and enjoy some local art from our community and surrounding areas. They do touring if asked. Every so often the have all the local school kids draw pictures and post them all downtown and in the museum.

Shalom Wildlife Sanctuary

This is a great place to bring the family, with all the different activities they do, around each season they do a different theme, now with Christmas coming up, they will give sled rides in the snow. The kids love this place. Able to watch different animals running around and even can touch them at times. Family fun.

Fanny Hill Inn & Dinner Theatre

A very nice themed rooms with a great view of the river below. Located close to fine restaurants, shopping centers and malls to satisfy most everyone. The building also is home to a dinner theater with shows on the weekends. Just a short drive from Interstate 94 or US 53.
