The city of Dnipropetrovsk (Ukr.) or Dnepropetrovsk (Rus.) is situated on the Dnieper River (Dnepr or Dnipro) in East-Central Ukraine (look World map and Ukraine map), and has a population of 1.04 million (third city in the country by population). Large and beautiful, it is the main city of East-Central Ukraine. Dnipropetrovsk - simply Dnepr, as it is called by local inhabitants is a dynamic and lively city. The city is surprising green along the wide and slow-moving Dnieper river (Dnepr in Russian, Dnipro in Ukrainian) and has remarkable embankments, long boulevards and spacious parks. It is also the major centre of high-technology industries, education, machine-building, metallurgy and trade. The city is not only famous for its commercial industry, but also its green hills and deep history. The old fortress settlement has existed since the middle of the 16th century. The new town was founded in 1776 by the Russian Prince, Potemkin by order of Catherine II, Empress of the Russian Empire and was called Yekaterinoslav (Ekaterinoslav) from 1776 to 1926. During 1918 the town’s name was Sicheslav (The Glory for Sich’/Fortress of Cossacks). Dnipropetrovsk has been the major center of the steel industry from the beginning of the 20th century until the present. It has also dominated in the machinebuilding and aero-spacebuilding industry since the 1950s. The city has a variety of theatres (plus an Opera) and museums which may be of interest to tourists. Cool place to sit and relax...They have cold and hot drinks, alcohol and non-alcohol ones..)They also have smoking area there..Two stores...Nice music playing and ter always wil be cosy place for u ..

Free Wi-Fi, a place where you can always have a cup of coffee and eat a sandwitch. One of the drawbacks: always croudy and not suitable for people that can't stand smoke. THe place is not expencive but there is limited number of dishes to choose from

It`s high level restaurant in Dnepropetrovsk. I often have a business lunch with my partners there. Good kitchen and service. It has also a coffee bar where allowed to sit and relax. And it has a pub where allowed to discussed and to watch football and other sports.

lovely feeling insite the bilding. lovely room , tidy and clean bathroom. the hotel in victorian stile, thats mean ,is so romantic for business people. the pubs and restorants is so close to hotel,that so confeteble. as the hotel in the main road thats can go shoping .

This place is perfect for honeymoon - only image: bungalo on the bank of the river Dniepro, posh service, great food, that will be delivred right into your bungalo. In the evening you can visit one from few restraunts that situated in the ship. There are yacht-club, night club, waterpool, cigare-room, vip-hall, sushi-bar etc. And there are mini-reserve with diars, foxes. Its realy great place for your luxurious honeymooon.

Damodara Cafe is a very nice place for having rest and great vegetarian dishes. Its cafe for people who care about their health and want to eat delicious food. In menu of this restraunt lots of dishes and everybody can choose smth for his self. Especially cool are indian sweets and hamburger without meat. And ofcourse their salads its smth mmmm incredible!!!! I love it!!!

It's a restaurant where you can try national Ukrainian dishes - borshch, varenyky and others. They are like home food. You can also try in this restaurant different salads, potatoes, meet, beer and some cakes. It's a restaurant with low prices. Help yourself! :)

Alley of lovers is located on Stolyarova street. It is a place where everyone who loves spend time. It was opened in 2003 year, in the 227-th anniversary of the city birth. It is a special place for loving confessions. This alley become a visiting card of the city.
