Lotus Resturant

2 Recommendations: 2 Favorable,

Lotus Restaurant For over twenty years, that Lotus restaurant has been recognized as the best seafood restaurant on Bang Tao beach Phuket. The unique offering of the restaurant is to provide the best quality food and drink. They offer not only the freshest and tastiest meals, where the guests can select their own live seafood such as lobsters, sea bass, groupers, tiger prawns from the tanks, but guests can also enjoy the panoramic view of Bang Tao bay and the beautiful sunset of the Andaman Sea here. This is the best restaurant and caters largely to the guest that stay at other 5* resorts in the area. Booking is essential. Go on give it a try.

Tapee River

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

One of the unfortunately neglected attractions of the Surat Thani province is the town itself. One can charter a small motor boat and go for a river cruise on Tapee, the main river of this beautiful province. Either at dawn or dusk, the colors of the sky, the colors of the fishermen houses make for a great show. During the night, you can visit the so-called "Christmas trees" which in fact are some trees of a certain species who attract thousands of fireflies.

Kadaejae Monkey School

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

Mr. Luesak, the owner of this renowned monkey school, learned the secrets of macaque training from his father, also a trainer. Every morning at dawn, Mr. Luesak takes his students to a nearby coconut tree plantation and teaches them how to climb the trees, how to choose only the ripe coconuts and how to set them loose. You can spend a night at Mr. Luesak's house for a small fee.

Anthong Marine Park

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

Anthong Marine Park is a great family day out. If you take the large converted fishing boat featured in the photograph, it takes about 90 minutes to get there. If you opt for the slightly more expensive speed boat, it takes just under an hour. Take care and keep a check on the weather, if it is a bit windy, the speed boat option can be quite bumpy. On the plus side though, if you go by speed boat they have time to show you more, and take you to a much nicer snorkelling site. Both options include kayaking. With the speed boat you are given lunch in a restaurant, on the big boat you eat on board. Take decent walking shoes because on one of the islands there is quite an energetic hike up the mountain to a fantastic look out point where you can see the whole of the marine park. Diving off the top deck of the big boat is great fun!! If you are really lucky as I was on my last visit, we spotted 3 very rare pink dolphins. This is only one of two places in the world they can be seen. The other being off the coast of Vietnam.

Chaulty Towers Bed & Breakfast

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

A hidden gem in located in the Lamai Hillside,Koh Samui. It is private as they only accommodate a limited number of guest. The owner Steven, who is from UK, is the most friendliest, entertaining and helpful person you will ever met. The rooms are well taken off as they clean your room everyday. There is even a pool table and a cute little bar where you can chill beside the swimming pool. Near enough to the nightlife but far enough for you to enjoy the peaceful quietness of the lovely island, Koh Samui. I truly recommend this place.
