Mount Hermon

2 Recommendations: 2 Favorable,

The Hermon site is a ski resort at the top of mount Hermon. Although the season is very short (usually round one month) the site at mount Hermon offers a nice day out for any one. There is a basic entrance fee (round 50 NIS) then there are ski gear rentals, a fee to use the cable car taking you to the top of the skiing slope and also a restaurant and shops. The site is relatively small and the only ski resort in Israel. It is best to arrive early to avoid the queues.

Shabrouh Dam-Sad Shabrou7

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

Take a road trip from Beirut, drive to Keserwan area direction. Reach harrisa and drive up mountains until you reach Faraya village. The drive will take about 1 hour and a half depending on the traffic in Beirut. When you reach the Faraya round about drive a bit more up like 4 minutes and ask where is the entrance of Shabrouhh Dam. There must be a sign to show you how to enter there. Park you car and go toward the dam to see the nice view. during summer time, the water will be low, and the breeze will be cool up there. If you go during winter, you might not be able to enter, since the water level will be high. take some pictures at the top of the dam, and sit and relax by the cool breeze. You can continue your trip up to Kfardebian for skiing in winter, or to Faqra to see the water fall, the ruins and the non-artificial bridge.

Baalbek

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

Approximately 86 kilometers northeast of the city of Beirut in eastern Lebanon stands the temple complex of Baalbek. Situated atop a high point in the fertile Bekaa valley, the ruins are one of the most extraordinary and enigmatic holy places of ancient times. Long before the Romans conquered the site and built their enormous temple of Jupiter, long even before the Phoenicians constructed a temple to the god Baal, there stood at Baalbek the largest stone block construction found in the entire world. Really amazing place!!!

Ain El Zarka

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

On the Bekaa valey near the Hermel city, is Ain El Zarka. Where Assi River (Nahr El Assi) is born and where St. Maroun stayed lodged for many years in caves near by. It is a oasis in the middle of the Bekaa desert, something of the dreams. Few people know about this place. you should be one of those who knows it.
