Passeig de Gràcia
4 Recommendations: 4 Favorable,
The house Lleó i Morera was raised by Lluís Domènech i Montaner in 1905 for Albert Lleó i Morera. Unfortunately, he lost the decoration of the floor during an unfortunate reform in 1943. In the sculptures of the first floor pays tribute to some modern inventions: the gramophone, the lamp, the phone and the camera.

Parc de la Ciutadella, Pg. Pujades/Pg. Picasso, 08003 Barcelona
3 Recommendations: 3 Favorable,
Ciutadella is for locals what Central Park is for newyorkers. Specially busy in the weekends, people meet there to walk the dog, let the kids play, but also dance outdoors (swing, tango, salsa, belly...), row the little boats, practice taichi, juggle, sunbathe... The zoo and the Catalan parlament are also located inside the Park, that was once the headquarters of the 1888 International Fair.

Castillo de Bellver
3 Recommendations: 3 Favorable,
Bellver Castle is one of those places where the harmony is settle and surrounding the visitor on entering to the incredible patio, due to meaning of shapes and the power of the numbers and geometry when it was built in the Gothic period. Try to count the number of pillars in the ground floor and then compare to the ones in the first...compare the round arches with the pointed ..see the power of number as 3,4 ,7 in this moment you start learning how to read in the buildings and you will be able to get a lot of information that most of visitor just dont care to analyze when they visit such a good preserved fortress.

Sagrada Familia
3 Recommendations: 3 Favorable,
Definitely the MUST-SEE in Barcelona. After November 7th 2010, the inside has been completed and Pope Benedict himself came to dedicate the church. Since then, there are no more scaffolding inside and new decoration items (lamps, stain glasses...) are being added. Still 10 more towers are missing before it's completed (waht's expected to happen between 2026-2030). To avoid lines, buy tickets at least 2 days in advanced at any Servicaixa ATM (in La Caixa bank offices). Or hire a private tourguide to show you around (official tourguides can skip lines when their group is less than 8 people!). By all means, do not just see it from outside: the inside is so worth you'll regret it if you don't go in!

Parc de la Ciutadella
3 Recommendations: 3 Favorable,
In the place of an old castle built at the beginning of XVIIIth century, this park is one of the most beautiful in Barcelona. Near the Born, the Barceloneta and Santa Maria del Mar. The best place to have a Sunday picnic or sailing in a little boat with your children.

La Boqueria

The oldest market place in Barcelona and the largest in the world... and probably one of the best in the world! You'll find here plenty of local produce but also very exotic food: if you can't find your ingredients here, you won't probably find it anywhere else in town! Come in the mornings Tue-Sat: after local lunch (around 3pm) many stalls start closing and it's not as vibrant as in the morning. On Sunday it's closed and on Monday the fish section is only partially open, what also affects the activity in the rest of the market. Don't miss the opportunity to eat lunch or an abundant breakfast in any of the market bars (remember they are not open for dinner, though!) And one last tip if you are intending to buy anything, check the stalls in the side alleys and the back of the market: the shops at the entrance are much more expensive!
