Duryu Park Stadium

I would recommend going to Duryu Tower. Duryu tower has a great view of Daegu. The tower costs a bit of money to go up the elevator. However, you are able to bunjee jump and or just look out over the tower. You can get a 360 view of Daegu with a semi quiet environment, however, the weekends tend to be busy with children and other couples. Enjoy your time there.

Rose park

The park is small but beautiful when the roses are in full bloom, which happens to start in May through out the summer months until about mid-Sept early October. The walk through the park is a bit romantic at night, however as mentioned the park is small. There is some exercise equipment and numerous places to sit and enjoy the roses. Besides this there is not much else to say about the park, it is about a 10 minute walk from Igok subway station.

Wedding Castle

The wedding hall is very large, but limited in seating. They carry the bride in a special cage from the back of the room to the front of the wedding hall. So, if you want a little some unusual but still reasonable this is a good place. The price is a bit cheaper than other places, so if your on a budget this is also a good place. The food was also decent. Finally, the bride chamber was not close to the wedding hall, which is good if you are wanting to keep with the tradition of the bride not being seen until the actual wedding ceremony.

Vienna Wedding Hall

The environment of the hall is very relaxed and romantic. The staff are very friendly and speak some English. There were various types of foods to taste and choose from. There was sufficient setting. Unlike other wedding halls in Korea, they don't do any of the gaudy activities, the wedding procedure was simple and formal.

Gomtang Chicken Soup

The chicken soup is great and relatively reasonable, 10$ a bowl. Each bowl has it's own stuffed spring chicken enough for 2 small children or an adult. The atmosphere is pleasant: soft music and both seated tables or traditional style floor seating (the traditional seating great in the winter if you wanna keep your buns warm). The staff are friendly and speak reasonable English (enough for you to order a meal and possibly ask for directions for your next destination. Enjoy the chicken soup in summer or in the winter. Koreans believe that if you eat chicken soup during the hot summer months your energy will be replenished.

Hotel Inter Burgo

Hotel Inter Burgo is a high class 5 star hotel on the outskirts of Daegu city. With five star hotels comes 5 star prices, however, Hotel Inter Burgo is a great weekend get away place for couples: clean, quiet, and romantic. It's a great place to go to.

Walryoung Mountain

Walryoung Mountain is an easy climb but refreshing first thing in the morning. If you happen to live or stay in SeongSeo you can enjoy the rising and the setting of the sun from here. The is some exercise equipment up at the top as well. In addition the pathways are not overcrowded, so if your looking for a quick hike that is not crowded Walryoung is the place to go.

Keimyung University SeongSeo Campus is quiet, romantic, and fun. Keimyung University is well known by the student of Korea for being one of the most beautiful campuses in Korea, which I would agree. Regardless of the campuses beauty there is East gate. East gate is busy on Fridays and Saturday nights. Many students and teachers hang out East gate and have a couple of cheap drinks in front of Family Mart.

Good food and atmosphere. It is a bit expensive though. The location is generally good although if you are going there for the first time you may find the location a bit difficult to find and the taxi drivers do not know the place very well. The search for this place is worth it.
