Magellan's Cross
5 Recommendations: 5 Favorable,
This is the site of the first cross planted by the first wave of Spanish Conquestadores led by the Ferdinand Magellan. The first fleet to reach the Philippine island in Cebu came not purposely for Cebu but to find the spice island. Since Europe at 1500 was fighting for supremacy in acquiring more countries to be conquered they also intend to dominate the spice islands the whereabouts of which they do not know the exact location hence the coming over to the Philippines. The fleet which came ahead of them were not successful in docking due to the hostility of the inhabitants so the next galleon led by navigator Magellan came overtly to bring the Catholic religion of the Spaniards hence the cross they brought and planted in Cebu as a sign of Cebuano inhabitants to the acceptance of the spaniards not as conquerors but as friends.

Fort San Pedro
4 Recommendations: 4 Favorable,
Fortress of the ancient...well not really it's just the OLDEST and SMALLEST port in the country... its history is embodied in its inside rooms which now are part of its showcase not as a warfare building but as a museum. Being there will give you a chill for chivalry... a moment of stronghold is now a walk away.

STK Ta Bay!
4 Recommendations: 4 Favorable,
STK Ta Bay!, Cebu City STK Ta Bay which stands for "Sugba Tinola Kilawin Tayo Pare," is located in one of the streets in Cebu City. Outside the busy lights and crowded places - one of the best restaurant when you need a little bit of grilled seafoods, exotic finds and something to crave about like in "Lutong-bahay" (home-made cooking). A choice of several types of grilled seafoods like tuna, squid and scallop. Not to mention some of the usual favorites like pork belly, barbecue and chicken. Imagine taking these grills in a fine restaurant with an average cost of Php 350 per serving, but with STK, an insane low price of an average of Php 150 per serving. Not bad right? Top the grilled catch with some of their "Sabaw" (soup). Tinola is their specialty here! Cost roughly from Php 100 - Php 150 bucks. This is not just a single or double servings, good for sharing with a maximum of 4 hungry folks. With a less expensive menu coming your way, better order whatever you like without cutting short of your budget. This is all for now, a must try restaurant in Cebu City. Don't leave Cebu without trying this!

Chocolate Hills in bohol
3 Recommendations: 3 Favorable,
Come visit and witness how the chocolate hills look. I've been in Bohol once and it took only a day to tour around the small island. I lunch at Loboc River. I've been visited their national parks, the historical museum, the small monkeys"tarsier"sanctuary, passby the man made forest, did not missed their waterfalls and the Hinagdan Cave which amazed me. I heard a butterfly farm i hesitate to go because I was with my niece and she's only a year old that time. I stayed at Panglao where beach was nice. I spent my second day with dolphins and whales watching or shall I say hunting coz it needed to find in the ocean at very early morning. From the Panglao beach we hopped to Balicasag where coral reefs were beautiful and the fishes of different colors, sizes and types were present, can't forgot how small fishes come near with me coz of feeding them with bread. The comunity there were friendly... My experienced in Bohol is good.
