Great Shopping Center. Recently opened, has lots of stores including a giant Walmart. One of the best Casinos in this part part of the World is located here, with a wonderful Restaurant and a nice Lounge and Sports Bar. Is located only 45 minutes North of Tecun Uman. Many things to see, a brand new Holliday Inn Hotel has recently opened adjacent to this mall. Lots of great food places at the Food Quarter inside one of the main entrances, easy accesa in and out to the Main Roads!

Great for alpinism, it could be climbed 3/4 high and spend the night over, the next morning live very early and get to the top. After this, experienced the most beutiful morning watching the sun coming out. One of the prettiest views in all Central America!

great place for dining, dancing and other aspects of the nightlife. Excelent ambiance, atracts the locals but also the cream of the crop, great dj's, but lots of the local musicians also play here. Very often they also bring international bands. The food is great, mexican and international dishes. A MUST IN TAPACHULA!

Beautiful place on the top of the hill, very romantic, has a great Restaurant Bar "El Kafetal". Great view of the city, easy access to the city and Airport. Has agreat package for honeymooners, Disco Bar, lots of nice people dine in and dance on weekends with great local and international amennities.

Piscinas de Agua Tibia

This natural bath tub is fed by the waters of the Volcano Veins which heat the water and which many believe to be very healing. It is a very nice experience of sulfur vapor and water that many take bottles filled to take as medicinal. It is much like the Almolonga, Quetzaltenango baths. It is just two hours away from Tejutla and the most civilized community in all of Guatemala.

Colegio Palabra en Acción

This is undoubtedly the best secondary level and primary education level school in the entire world. The children use work books that integrate The Word of God into every subject. It has a very low teacher to student ratio, 15 students per teacher. For those looking for examples and models of educational facilities, not coming to spend a day learning how the children learn would be a big mistake. The director of the school is a man model for all men, very intelligent, handsome and almost overpowering with his charisma. It is worth coming here if you don´t go any place else.

Valle Encantada

It is close to the central park and governmental offices of San Marcos and across the street from the former bus terminal. The food is very clean and good and the service is excellent. It is a great place to get away from the noise. and to feed your face. The price is very right and the owners are very attentive and knowledgeable to help you find another place of interest. It is another hour from Tejutla where you will have missed much if you don´t come here.
