Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco
3 Recommendations: 3 Favorable,
It's one of the most beautiful places in Mexico where mountains and the sea collide along a narrow beach. The town has an old part with cobble stone streets, white wall and red tile roof houses where you can stroll oblivious of fast-paced life. It also has a new area with modern facilities, shopping malls and box-like stores (costco, etc.). The city is totally bilingual and you can get along perfectly well in English.

Orquesta Sinfónica de Xalapa
3 Recommendations: 3 Favorable,
Orquesta Sinfónica de Xalapa is the oldest in Mexico: 80 years old in 2009 and years have only arrive to make it better. What distinguishes though is not her age but the fact that it is one of the most recognized orchestras in Mexico and for some, the best in its type. Its current director is Fernando Lozano and during orchestra season you can attend any of their magnificent concerts at their current home: The State Theater (Teatro del Estado) located on one of the main avenues in the city, Ávila Camacho. If you want to know about concert dates visit their website www.sinfonicadexalapa.org You can also listen to a sample and learn about the history of one of Xalapa's most cherished treasures.

mercado de coyoacan
3 Recommendations: 3 Favorable,
Two brothers begin a stall of tostadas many years ago. In the meanwhile, they had so much succes that they could invade the entire central block of the market. I recommend the tostada de tinga (spicy chicken) and camarones, but there are at least 15 options to choose from. Delicious fruit juices as well.

Villa Amor is Spanish for hotel of love. You can dine outside overlooking the ocean. You will not be bothered by vendors that walk the beaches. The view is breathtaking a place for that relaxed moment. The sounds you will here are of the ocean. It is the kind of place that will allow you to have the best of memories.

Mercado de Artesanías de la Ciudadela
3 Recommendations: 3 Favorable,
It has a wide range of gifts for everyone. From the simple key chain to the elaborate chess board and clothing. There is an extensive collection of gifts that can include traditional Mexican clothing like the typical Mariachi hat or the zarape. All here. Along the way there can be other gifts like bottles filled with boats or traditional foot wear. Lots of jewelry available and food nearby. A great place to bring back something nice.
