Port Royal is known as the Wickedest City in the World.. It is where Captain Morgan hung out with the Pirates of the Caribbean.There was a thriving center of activity and I believe it is had a large Jewish Community as they were running from the Inquisition..There was a major Earthquake and Tsunami which sank part of the Peninsula and some of the most important treasures are lying there..The university of Maryland was allowed to go diving but I believe took some artifacts and so now it is only discovered by scuba divers who can get their equipment to dive at the wonderful hotel Morgan's Harbor which is also one of the take off places to go to Lime Key...which is a great local favorite key where you can get Jerk Chicken and Lobster for a song...

Ice cream is made from 100% jamaican fruits you will not find any where else. the food is all jamaican Devon house is always full with children playing and enjoying ice crem with their parents . lovers take over the beautiful green grass you have to walk careful so that you dont step on them

Here you have the opportunity to chose the fish you will eat, it is cooked on spot while you bathe int warm waters of just lazy in the sun. This is a great place to enjoy sea, sun and food. Emancipation Park

Firstly, Emancipation Park was set up as a place where Kingstonians and tourists alike can go to relax or exercise or watch plays and concerts. It is located in New Kingston and there is security on the compound. We are asked to not litter the area because it is for all to enjoy. Emancipation means freedom so it is the park which commemorates when slaves were freed in 1838 in Jamaica. You will see two busts that depict two slaves that looking up to heaven as if praying to God thanking him firstly and looking to him for guidance. These busts caused quite a ruckus when it was first installed. But like all art eventually persons got used to it and they still come to view them for their artistic value. Emancipation Park is a breath of fresh air in Kingston. Please don't hesitate to include this park in your tour schedule. It is a romantic setting especially at night. Nearby there is a place for children to play at Putt and Play where children can be occupied while you get a breather to relax. You may have to pay a minimal fee for the rides.

Emancipation Park, Kingston

Emancipation Park is a recently opened park in Kingston to give a special green space in Kingston where persons can enjoy music, choral recitals, and dramas in an area that is clean and well laid out. Jamaicans have a love me or leave me attitude for the statues that have been erected in the park. When they first came out for a year there was talk about it, mainly offensive talk. Those who appreciate art speak highly of them. The meaning to me of the statues is two people looking upward to heaven and praying for a new life with freedom. It is as if they are saying what now? we hope,we pray that freedom is the answer, and with that answer, we hope to achieve all our desires in making this land a better land.

This is a very nice restaurant, family oriented situated in the lovely new Kingston. the food is great ,the atmosphere is delightful. the people are great and it is also a great place to met new and interesting people. it's a wonderful place just to go and relax and try something new.
