Louvre Museum

The biggest museum in the world! Formerly the kings private castle, improved/enlarged by many successive kings. Home of the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and countless other classic pieces of art. It is said that if you were to spend 2 minutes in front,of every piece of art in the Louvre, that it would take over 360 days...

Eiffel Tower

2 Recommendations: 2 Favorable,

19th century iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris that has become both a global icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tower stands at 324 m (1,063 ft) tall, about the same height as an 81-story building. It was the tallest structure in the world from its completion until 1930, when it was eclipsed by the Chrysler Building in New York City. Not including broadcast antennas, it is the second-tallest structure in France, behind the Millau Viaduct, completed in 2004.

This lovely, off-the-beaten-path park is in the North North-East corner of the city. Built on an enormous hill, it is filled with walking trails, small lakes, waterfalls, and a gazebo. Very romantic!

Le tour Eiffel

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

If there is just one thing you should do in Paris, this is it! The Eiffel tower is arguably the most romantic monument in the world. After all it located in the most romantic city ever. (In my humble opinion. I am also addicted to it, a little bit.) It is very easy to get to it on your own, by train or by public buses. Or if you insist on depending on the many tour buses that stop in front of it every few seconds you can do that too. But when I'm in Paris I prefer to use public transport or walk & explore the city on my own. Before you get there, check with the concierge of your hotel if they have an express pass. It helps by cutting your waiting time by half, at least. Once you are at the most magnificent monument in the world, you have a couple of options. You may use the elevator or stairs to go up to the first & second level of the tower & dine at the restaurants on either level. Or take the elevator to the third level, which is right at the top & enjoy the most amazing bird's eye view of Paris you will ever see. (Skip the champagne sold there, it's not worth it) If you can, go back at night. The tower is lit up with blinking lights every hour on the hour, for about 10 mins. In the background I could hear the music from the ferris wheel near-by. At first I did not realise that it was not part of the light show. But the experience could not get more 'Parisien' than that. I promise you will love it!

Cap Blanc Nez Cap Gris Nez

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

A beautiful view on England. A mysterious place... remembering a hard part of our history... the world wars... The silence of death and disaster is still present, but at the same time the nature there is as rough as the wars were... This place didn't change for many years...

Égouts de Paris

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

It is not common to visit a place as the "Egouts de Paris". Anyway it is worth the cost to see this part of Paris with its own streets. You need to accept a little smell, but please be strong...You will discover an unseen part of this worldtown...
