This is Numa Pomplio Llona Street (Las Peñas ) one of the best places in Guayaquil. You must see it, many local artists have their workshops in here and show their art to visitors. Nice and safe to walk. Get a chance to discover it by yourself. Do not get mislead by the other pictures which are taken at Santa Ana Hill, those are not taken in Las Peñas...just search NUMA POMPILIO LLONA street and you will find your way to discover this nice place.

Great place to watch any kind of sports, specially the most popular of all in Ecuador, futbol-soccer. You can watch me most important matches from all around the world, also this worldcup in south Africa 2010, starting June 11 and during a whole month. You can eat many different dishes, drink... just a great place to enjoy sports.

In las peñas, you'll find a lot of places for having fun, there is a mixture of the old and the new city... near las Peñas is also the Colon Plaza the oldest chruch in Guayaquil is located here and the fireman museum... have fun

Parque Historico de Guayaquil

A must seen in Guayaquil and in my humble opinion the best zoo of Ecuador. The second part with the reconstructed bildings is interesting but there is not much to do except listening to the guides and imagine how people live during that time. My favourite part is the custom site. It has a poor farmer house where you will always be welcome and the rich farmer house which you are also welcome but the greetings are not as warm as in the first house. I love to go on Sunday so I could see the play with tradicional characters.

Aeropuerto José Joaquín de Olmedo

This is not a tourist activity it is a service, but there is no choice for that on the chart. Brend new airport, one of the nicest i have been in latin america country. Small, no to much security time to go through. Restaurant, cafe, duty free. I have not seen any ciber yet. Storage room. Parking space. The airport serve international and national departure.

A typical place to go, if you are a tourist. Good ambiance, decorated with images of old Guayaquil, ecuadorian music, lke "pasillos" and musicians on week ends. Book before going, group of tourists go there at every time. Good service and good deserts.

It has a great architecture, italian influence, statue of general sucre will be find there as well, fully renovated. It is the house of the Alcalde, municipal building, if you want inside, look up! It was rebuild in 2002, the stone outside are the original one from the 1900s. There is some bench where you can sit and enjoye, across there is the municipality museum has wel. Beautifull, great pictures shots.

Es un lugar para la distracción familiar, a orillas del estero Salado, hay parqueadero, patio de comidas, juegos infantiles, paseo en bote, en la tarde puede suele ser visitado por parejas para un paseo romántico, y finalmente hay unas discotecas para todos los gustos
