This is a beautiful destination! Lot's to see and do. You can also hike th trails to see 2 waterfalls, see the wild feline exhibit, the bird aviary and the monkey exhibit. Although road is a bit tricky. As long as you have agood driver it should present no problem.

The better place to have your hair cut in Alajuela downtown, Costa Rica. Very professional and at a low cost, usually this place is crowded, so you will need to take a number on the line or arrive very early in the morning. Haircuts from US $ 4.00 up to US $ 8.00 (beard shaving).

Juan Santamaria International Airport has been under renovations for the last 10 years and the improvements are fantastic. The new immigration facilities are second to none and make it faster and easier to get your trip started once you arrive at the airport. After you get your bags there is plenty of public transportation just out side the door!

There´s a place for almos everything, there´s the local market, all people from the center area goes there to get a nice "empanada", there´s a souvenir store , turist free information, you will love the atention of all people there . try to get some money if you want something to remember . PEACE

This is a volcano with amazing sights, surrounded by an exciting cloud forest! The National park is located to the north of Alajuela down town, about 1.5 hours from there. You can drive your own car, but also buses departure in the mornings till the entrance to the main crater and return in the afternoon.
