6 Recommendations: 6 Favorable,

This museum can show foreigners how pre-columbian tribes (linguistic and ethnic groups who were settled down in Colombia before Columbus came to America) made many kinds of jewelery using gold. In this museum people can see the historical development and gold work evolution of Colmbian pre-columbian tribes. The building where this museum is located was refurnitured, reorganized and reembellished in 2008 in order to give local and foreign visitors a better and comfortable view of the pieces available in the museum. The Museum of Gold of Bogotá it is considered one of the most precolumbian public gold work gallery in Latin America

La Puerta Falsa

3 Recommendations: 3 Favorable,

This is the oldest cafe in Bogota, established in the 19th century. One of the best places to try the traditional hot chocolate ("chocolate santafereño") with cheese, bread and tamale. Its name was given because the cafe is right in frontof what used to be the false door ("puerta falsa") of the Cathedral. Half a block away from Bogota's main square: Plaza de Bolivar.

Castillo San Felipe de Barajas

3 Recommendations: 3 Favorable,

A gorges site in the Caribbean where the Spaniards use to wait for the pirates and resist them with very high possibilities of rejecting them. There were plenty of tunnels where to hide and wait for the opponents to fight them away with good results. You can watch great part of the Cartagena bay with its wonderful beaches and tropical sites. The castle is very antique and it was restore not very long ago.

The two buildings that make up our hotel today were originally homes of the some of the firts settlers who were granted land rights by the Spanish crown.
