Khunjerab Pass, Pak-China Border, Khunjerab, Pakistan
12 Recommendations: 12 Favorable,
Khunjerab Pass (elevation 4,693 metres (15,397 ft) is a high mountain pass in the Karakorum Mountains on the northern border of Gilgit-Baltistan and the Xinjiang Autonmous Region of China. The name is derived from Wakhi for Blood Valley. The Khunjerab Pass is the highest paved border crossing in the world and the highest point on the Karakoram Highway. The roadway across the pass was completed in 1982, and has superseded the unpaved Mintaka Pass and Kilik Pass as the primary passage across the Karakorum Range. On the Pakistani side, the pass is 125 km (78 mi) from Sust, 270 km (170 mi) from Gilgit and 870 km (540 mi) from Islamabad. There is a security outpost in Dih, and a customs and immigration post near Sust. On the Chinese side, the pass is 130 km (81 mi) from Tashkurgan, 420 km (260 mi) from Kashgar and some 1,890 km (1,170 mi) from Urumqi. The Chinese port of entry is located 1 km (0.62 mi) away from the mountain in Tashkurgan County. The long, flat pass is often snow-covered during the winter season and as a consequence, it is closed from November 30 to May 1. There is excellent grazing on the Chinese side of the pass, and domesticated yaks and dzu (a cross between yaks and cows) may be seen from the road. On the Pakistani side, the highway travels about 50 km (31 mi) across the extensive Khunjerab National Park before reaching the security outpost of Dih. Recommended for those tourists who like to explore PAkistan and China by road. Best season to visit this pleace is from Ist May to 30th November.

Shanghai
5 Recommendations: 5 Favorable,
One of the finest place in the world with the best of everything. Our stay in Eton Hotel was very comfortable. The amenities were first place with a heated indoor pool and a buffet to accomodate all the yummy food i could ever want. Shopping was a thrill as all the best brands were there for the take.Their malls are 10 stories high,it would take a person at least an hour just to briskly walk through it. The streets are immaculately clean with no pollution. People are nice and friendly. The combination of modern living with olden huts can be quite a contrast. I love the Shanghai Museum and the visit to the Dongfangminzhu was really spectacular.Imagine being high above the city, peering into miniature objects and the elevator ride was just a few minutes even though the tower was 80 something floors. The night lights are something else.We were on a short cruise right just staring at all the beautiful lightworks everywhere as the city come to life. And their bookstore was a skyrocketing 8 stories. There's more, words just cant express it anymore...

Westlake , Hubin Road
2 Recommendations: 2 Favorable,
You can find some famous restaurants such as grandmother's home there. Sometimes time you spended on waiting is much longer than mealtime. Cinema, luxury shops and snack bars are all over there. It can definitely be regarded as a new commercial centre.

M on the Bund
2 Recommendations: 2 Favorable,
A beautiful bar at night, dining by day. M on the Bund offers a great view of the Bund and Huangpu River. Located near many other great (but expensive) bars and restaurants along the high-profile Zhongshan Road. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny at M on the Bund, but its well worth it.

Xintiandi, Luwan, Shanghai
2 Recommendations: 2 Favorable,
place for the weekend afternoon, evening and for all the nights. Bar, disco, restaurant, shops, everything you like, you can get. The only problem is the price. This place is one of or may be the most expensive place of Shanghai. Anyway, it is a place to visit thanks to the old fashion of the old time with its building. You can not say to have been in Shanghai, if you have not been here.

Yaoshan
2 Recommendations: 2 Favorable,
Hike up to the top of Yaoshan (or better, ride a motorcycle up the winding street on the north side)on the outskirts of Guilin and wait for the sun to set. The view to the city is usually clear and breath-taking. You can ride the chairlift down after. Don't buy anything as the prices are ridiculous.
