Salzburg

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

Salzburg is one of UNESCO`S World Heritage Sites , famous as the birthplace of it`s favourite son, Wolfgang Amadeus MOZART, & the location site for one of the most famous musicals of all time; THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Nestled at the base of the Austrian Alps, with a majestic view of the Untersberg Mountain, Salzburg`s scenery is breathtaking and magical. Only 2 hours southeast of Munich and a wonderful place for a day trip from Munich. A popular place for tourists from the world over, an absolute gem, loved by tourists of all ages!

Grossglockner, 9981 Kals am Großglockner

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

Do not miss this drive. We hired a taxi to take us to the top. It was snowing at the top in the middle of the summer! A gorgeous drive where you're literally in the clouds. Views are magnificent and the cows are enjoying their summer in the alps. Quite a few places to stop and get coffee, take photos and get a bite to eat. At the top you can grab a bite as well.

THE ROCK cafe bistro bar, Kantstr. 17, 83301 Traunreut

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

I think its the best bistro and bar in Traunreut. nice place to go for lunch or coffee, or for a drink. newly renovated location. friendly service. it can be quite crowded on weekends so you might want to reserve a table. I am sure you will feel very comfortable there.

Salzburg Sightseeing Tours

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

I have taken two tours with this company and have different reviews. The Sound of Music tour was superb, great sights from the film to be seen, but also you got some great scenery from the surrounding Salzburg too. I also took the Eagle's nest tour and that was okay, I was expecting more time in Eagle's nest, Hitler's 50th Birthday present. We had just 55 minutes there in a four hour tour and spent 1 hour in a local German town, which I thought was unneccessary. So be warned!!

Stadtgalerie St. Johann

1 Recommendations: 1 Favorable,

Basically the main shopping mall in Sankt Johann. Sports shops, supermarket, shoe shops, hairdressers, clothes shops, book shops, a few cafés, restaurants and bars, and many more shops. It's well located as it is surrounded by numerous other shops and restaurants.
