but actually the term originated in the then north west frontier province, now PK
namak mandi was famous for salted BBQs and the blokes there never applied anything else to the mutton apart from a sprinkle of salt.....yum it was!!!
namak mandis also became a fad name and seen else where too
one a bit far removed in the southern sind province was first established as a couple shops; truckers fav spot inside the naka of hyderabad....on the old road to karachi.
The one in isloo is reasonable with adjustments for the islooite palate.

The actual famous Namak Mandi is located near Saddar Market and Peshawar Road at Rawalpindi, it is on 2nd floor of same building of KFC.
Another but second Namak Mandi but not much popular is located in F-7 Jinnah Super Market Bhittai Road, Islamabad.

The REAL and ORIGINAL Namak Mandi as explained by Saadat, is still in Peshawar.
The restaurants in Namak Mandi serve awesome mutton tikka boti and karahi."CHARSEE TIKKA HOUSE" is one of the most famous over here but never underestimate others nearby.

Namak mundi Rawalpindi is situated in center of city, crossing the Fawara chowk of Raja bazar towards Gunj mundi. The original Namak mundi BBQ is in Peshawer only. Some one opened restaurant Namuk mundi inSaddar at Abid majeed road.

The ORIGINAL Namak Mandi iwith mouth watering lamb based dishes is still in Peshawar as also explained by some others. The restaurants in Namak Mandi serve awesome mutton tikka boti and karahi."CHARSEE TIKKA HOUSE" is one of the most famous over here but never underestimate others nearby. Have a good meal..

Namak mandi is near Jinnah Super market.....its actually on the back side of Jinnah super.
besides this there is another Namak Mandi outlet in Rawalpindi Sadder, near KFC(rawalpindi)

Actual Namak mandi is in Peshawar old city near Qisa Khawani bazar but in Ialsmabad Namak mandi is near Jinnah Super market.....backside the main jinnah super market.
