well just try to keep it simple and fun take her on tour of the city during the day then a nice dinner in a restaurant if u need recommendations let me know and then a little party in a Riad you know a couple of drinks some music some dancing and that would be good for someone her age I'm a Dj and I know some places if u want to have a party other than that e-mail me if u have any questions

well concerning the b-day depends on your budget, but it's very current and trendy at the moment to rent out a riad or a guesthouse for the whole family and organize a nice party with the guests who come over. flight tickets are cheap and if everybody chips in the w-kend will come out less expensive than organizing a party in europe and it will be something that everybody remembers as everything is taken care of, magical exotic marrakech. concerning the atlas mountains, well richard branson has a beautiful demeure in the atlas called kasbah tamadot check the website out. and or the ourika valley or the oukaimden resort

Marrakech is all great! The city and the suburbs are themselves a special memorable place for your mom to pass her birthday. You can also organize a trip to the mountains while you are in Marrakech. Well, 60th it's a good age! Maybe your mum would love relax and peace and feel "young" again.
You should bring her to a good hammam, and take care of her. There is a lovely plantation near 15 min from Marrakech where you can find the most beatiful roses, flowers and plants wich they used to produced esencial oils mixed with argan oil (the "anti age" cream, the secret of arabic womens). I am a fun of that. I am not 60th but it works to keep you young!

I have a perfect place for you. It is a 3 bedroom Riad:A beautiful 18th century house in the medina beautifully restored and equipped with all modern amenities(Ac,hot water, etc...) It comes with a cook and 2 house service people. It is rented on an exclusive basis for 500 Euros including breakfast. A Moroccan style birthday party can be organized on the premises with Henna ceremony and local Gnawa music. Definitely stay in a riad, that in itself will make the whole trip special, not just the birthday. Dinner at the riad on your mum's birthday could be a great option.
